Job Title: Emergency Department RN
Job Location: Milwaukee, WI
Job Type (Contract/Permanent): Contract
Duration of the contract: 13 weeks
Hours per week: 36
Shift Timings: 12-hour NOC Shift 1900-0700.
Job Description:
- Weekend Rotation: every other weekend
- Holiday Rotation: every other
- Float Requirements: Very slim chance of floating. If they do, it would be going into overflow - which is still ED patient setting.
- On Call/Call Back Requirements: N/A
- Certifications: WI RN, BLS, PALS - Required. (preferred - ACLS & TNCC)
- Education: ADN
- Minimum Experience: 1-2 years
- Charting: EPIC is highly preferred
- Scrub Colors: Any professional/clean Scrubs if they are not all black.
- Level 1. Efficient, fast paced ED. Census is very high this time of year. Majority of their cases are low acuity, but also see high acuity as well.
- PEDS experience preferred but not required.
- Currently seeing 175-200 cases
- ED techs and nurses. Run with 18 nurses on peak time and 6 care partners (CNA's/Techs)
- 3 nurses per one tech. Split up department in different areas; fast track area, and higher acuity are. Fast track closes by 1 am
