Below are the details:Job Title: ICU/ Heart Care/Step Down Intermediate/ MS RNJob Location: Waukesha, WIJob Type (Contract/Permanent): Contract Duration of the contract: 13 weeksHours per week: 36Shift Timing: 12 Hrs. 1900-0730Job Description
- Float Requirements: Oconomowoc Memorial and other like MS units
- Required Certifications to be Attached upon Submittal: WI RN, AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, NIHSS Stoke Cert
- Minimum Experience: 1 year of cardiac experience- 2 plus years MS experience.
- Must have 2 years of experience with travel as well- if no travel 5 years MS experience
- Experience must be short term acute care hospital experience
- Charting Experience Required: Current Epic within 12 months
- Required Skillset: must be comfortable with rhythm interpretation and be familiar with routine cardiac care for patient populations such as open heart surgical, arrhythmia, chest pain, cardiac procedural patients, heart failure, acute MI’s, etc.- WILL TAKE AN ICU RN IF COMFORTABLE WITH PATIENT RATIOS Nurses on the night shift typically have 4-5 patients
- Unit Information (Bed size, Case type, Patient ratio): HCU is considered an intermediate care unit and sees a variety of patients other than cardiac such as sepsis, respiratory failure, stroke, etc.
- 31 beds. Patient populations include heart failure, heart surgery and other thoracic surgeries, pacemaker placements, ablations, TAVRs, cardiac caths, MI, hypertension urgency, sepsis, respiratory failure, strokes, and many medical overflow patients as well. Nurses on the night shift typically have 4-5 patients
- Hard worker, Resilient and Manages Change well, social candidates
- Scrub Colors: Any color
- COVID Vaccine is required
