Work hours: M - F day shift. Somewhat flexible hours

Scientist 1 position. Has a preference for candidates with hands-on chemistry, wet lab, or analysis experience / relevant degree

Roles
- Provide technical skill, analytical testing, and engineering support for technology development activities for various medical device products. Support current projects in research & development and pilot-scale manufacturing
- Focus will be on analytical chemistry work and / or in vitro biology work using instruments in the lab.
- Execute technical and cross-functional project work
- Follow and execute on standard operating procedures (SOP) and test methods.
- Coordinate and support maintenance activities of lab as required.
- Perform other miscellaneous duties as directed by Supervisor or as required to support the business.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant major: Chemistry, chemical engineering, biomedical engineering, materials science or similar
- Experience / understanding of working in a lab.
- Lab work experience a strong plus.
- Ability to write detailed technical protocols and reports a strong plus.
- Strong communication skills
- Strong ability to learn
