Role Description

This is a contract role for a Perfusionist. The Perfusionist will be responsible for administering cardiopulmonary bypass and extracorporeal circulation during cardiac surgery. The role involves monitoring and maintaining appropriate blood parameters during surgery and the use of other mechanical devices. This is an on-site role located in Sioux Falls, SD.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Perfusion, Medicine, Cardiac Surgery, and Surgery
• Experience in administering cardiopulmonary bypass and extracorporeal circulation during cardiac surgery
• Competency in monitoring and maintaining appropriate blood parameters during surgery and the use of mechanical devices
• Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Graduate of a perfusion program accredited by the Accreditation Committee for Perfusion Education (AC-PE)
