Progressive Care Medicine is a 26 bed medical- telemetry unit. Nurses work collaboratively with hospital medicine providers to care for a diverse patient population with complicated physical and social needs. Patients have a wide range of diagnoses: sepsis, HIV/AIDS, sickle cell, cancer, diabetes, kidney and liver disease and complications of transplant.
Heparin and insulin drip experience preferred
Bedside telemetry monitoring and central monitoring techs. Nurses must know how to treat dysrhythmias.
1:4 Nurse to patient ratio
