About this Job:
- Our Enterprise Procurement Partners team is looking for a strategic sourcing team member to join us. Our team negotiates contracts with various vendors that range from the largest technology and financial services giants to small start-ups.
- We are looking for someone to manage vendor negotiations to achieve savings while not losing sight of long term, strategic goals. In this role, you will work with leaders throughout client’s Bank as well as outside vendors and consultants. You will review, negotiate, and manage contracts, assist with strategic sourcing (i.e., RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, etc.) and financial planning, and work on project-based initiatives.
- This role is specifically aimed toward understanding and negotiating contracts that arise out of our combined Operations and our Wealth, Corporate, Commercial, and Institutional Banking business lines.
Job responsibilities:
- Participates in the identification, design and development and implementation of assigned projects. Interfaces with internal and external resources to ensure successful and timely completion in accordance with user needs. Participates in training users and evaluating the project.
- Manages performance of the project team and evaluates overall team performance.
Top 2 Must Have skills or experience required:
- Experience reviewing / understanding / negotiating contracts.
- Ability to understand proposals and make recommendations.
3 NICE TO HAVE skills (or experience) that are preferred, but not required:
- JD or MBA.
- Vendor management.
- Banking industry experience.
Must haves:
- Contracts Review (1-2 Years).
- Vendor Negotiations (1-2 Years).
- Procurement Sourcing (1-2 Years).
