- Prepare tax returns for various business entities

- Perform research, analysis, and interpretation of current tax laws

- Resolve tax issues for clients such as garnishments, liens, and levies
- Provide advice on a wide range of topics related to decision making about costs, expenditures, and financial practices
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build new clientele and retain existing clientele
- Ability to work long hours when needed, especially during peak seasons
- Ability to work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
- 2 years of accounting experience in public accounting
- Experience with preparation of financial and income statements and balance sheets
- Proficient with specialized tax software (preferred but not necessary)
- Accounting credentials or desire to pursue credentials preferred
- Working vehicle to be able to travel locally for business needs
