Land Manor, Inc. is a nonprofit organization founded in 1969 in Beaumont, Texas. After 46 years, our mission remains the same: to assist individuals to live independently within the confines of their particular disability by providing services which enable them to address those needs. Our company was founded in 1969 by a Corporate Board of Directors and an Executive Director. The Executive Director was a local citizen who saw a need within the community and had a vision of opening a facility to serve those with mental health issues. A residential facility was opened, beginning with six clients.... Much of the original funding to open the first programs originated from donations (monetary and buildings). Land Manor, Inc. receives the majority of its funding from the Texas Department of State Health Services and the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, with ancillary funding from the Department of Assistive and Rehabilitative Services. We are also an enrolled Medicaid provider. Currently, Land Manor, Inc. operates three chemical dependency treatment programs for adult males and females and an HIV Outreach/Early Intervention program for adult males and females. We provide both residential and outpatient services at each chemical dependency program to ensure easy access for our clients. We are the largest single provider of residential chemical dependency treatment services in Region 5 (serving 15 counties). We accept clients from all over the state of Texas under our current funding sources. We also accept self-pay clients with no geographic limitations. Land Manor, Inc. has a 148-bed capacity in total. The average length of stay for clients ranges from 30 days to 90 days. Over the last fiscal year, approximately 80% of clients successfully completed our treatment programs.
