We are looking for a skilled electro-mechanical technician.

This position will be responsible for setting up, troubleshooting and maintaining various machines to ensure efficient production.

Experience should both electrical and mechanical with extensive trouble shooting and PLC skills.

You will be required to work with attention to detail and safety standards. On-the-job training will be provided, so you should have a willingness to learn and improve your skill-set.

- Control and adjust the functions and settings of machinery (via mechanically and from HMI to PLC controller)

- Learn/understand TGV computer functions -call orders, product changeovers, TGV reset procedures.

- Complete PM’s and maintenance as needed.

- Troubleshoot issues and have the ability to fix line stoppage.

- Have a heightened sense of situational awareness (notice light beacon alarms, audible alarms and learn the equipment)

- Provide maintenance for all department

- Should be able to prioritize jobs and tasks and work by priority

Requirements

- Use of Cognitive thinking

- Understanding of production procedures in a plant setting

- Knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools (calipers, rulers, etc.)

- Understanding of metric system

- Adherence to safety and health regulations. (gloves and ear protection required)

- Promote Good teamwork and communication skills. (Both written and verbal.)

- Analytical skills and good attention to detail

- Able to use hand/power tools correctly

- Retain information/training data

- Have good situational awareness and be a self-starter

- Wear company provided PPE along with safety shoes

- Should be able to read electrical diagrams

- Knowledge of systems such as: Pumps, Electric Motors, Gearboxes

- Ability to use forklifts, platforms, lifts

- Willingness to work and desire to learn new knowledge in the field of tile production.

- Setting up of automatic or semi-automatic machinery.

- Knowledge of manual equipment such as wrenches, drills, grinder, etc.
