Accounting/Payroll Clerk

A locally owned business in Pensacola is seeking an Accounting/Payroll Clerk to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with superior communication and customer service skills to join a supportive and friendly company. What you’ll be doing to make an impact:

• Process weekly payroll in Kronos/UKG Software Platform.
• Monitor and Report past due accounts receivable.
• Audit bank deposits.
• Audit promotions billed to Anheuser-Busch.
• Monitor returned checks.

What you’ll bring to the table:

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in Business preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of two years of experience functioning in an accounting staff role.
• Good communication skills: ability to communicate effectively with customers regarding past due accounts.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and basic computer skills.
• Must be detail-oriented and approach daily duties with urgency and healthy skepticism.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles.
• Knowledge of applicable laws; familiarity with IRS Circular E preferred.
• Experience with Kronos/UKG highly desired.

What’s in it for you:

• Compensation will be commensurate with experience. Fully qualified candidates start at $22.50/hr
• Schedule is regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 8 hour shift
