Landscape Development Inc. is a leading landscape construction company in California and Nevada seeking a Senior Landscape Construction Estimator to help build our high-performance team. The estimator will work closely with the sales team members to meet goals and support our company growth. Reports to Valencia Ca, 91355, during on-boarding.

A hybrid work schedule is available after 6 months.

Responsibilities include:

- Review plans, general conditions, schedules, scopes of work, site logistics and other exhibits

- Prepare organized and complete takeoffs

- Request and obtain quotes for all scope from multiple vendors and sub-contractors

- Enters takeoff information and quotes into computer estimating system

- Analyze alternate means and methods to determine value engineering suggestions

- Draft proposal documents

Required Qualifications:

- High School Diploma or GED

- 2-5 years of experience within the construction-estimating field or equivalent field experience

- Proficient in reading and understanding construction drawings

- Knowledge of plant and irrigation material, costs, and nursery sourcing

- Ability to gather, calculate, and compile take off data for bid use

- Effective oral and written communication skills

- Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel

- Proficient with On Center Software’s On-Screen Takeoff (OST)

- Ability to prioritize and multi-task

- Construction management background or higher education a bonus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
