Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Retail Assistant Manager to join our team. As a Retail Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, promoting and selling products, ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers and assist Store Manager in leading a winning team.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist them in finding the products they need
- Provide product information and answer any questions or concerns
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves and monitoring stock levels
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals
- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and industry trends
- Assist with visual merchandising to create an appealing store environment
Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management
- Knowledge of marketing techniques to promote products effectively
- Experience in recruiting, payroll, leadership, employee orientation, interviewing is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong sales and negotiation skills to drive revenue growth
- Familiarity with sales management and store management best practices
