The Software Testing Analyst will work with talented team members in a fast-paced environment to assist with executing testing on various software, telecom and reporting systems. They will perform a crucial function at LSA. The Software Testing Analyst will detect software failures so that defects may be discovered and corrected prior to implementation.
Responsibilities

• Develop and document application test plans based on software requirements and technical specifications (working with business users and technical resources)
• Perform testing on various software, telecom and reporting systems
• Record and document results and conduct comparison to expected results
• Document anomalies and issues
• Maintain database of software defects
• Verify specific action or function of code
• Identify training needs and provide application instructions for users
• Create meaningful error handling procedures for application code
• Participate in application planning meetings (Agile Meetings)

Requirements

• Quality assurance, auditing and testing experience
• Solid computer skills including Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and tools
• Ability to independently make decisions and problem solve
• Strong attention to detail and ability to plan and organize
• Test automation experience (Eggplant a plus)
• Agile/Scrum
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
• 2-5 years of relevant experience
• Analytical Skills and Critical Thinking
