Larchmont Village Oral Surgery is Hiring an Oral Surgery Assistant Near Los Angeles, CA
Larchmount Village Oral Surgery is seeking an experience surgical assistant to join our team!
Responsibilities include: assisting with patients before, during and after surgery. Assistants will be required to handle and sterilize instruments. Stocking and management of supplies. Setting up/breaking down rooms. Reviewing consents and post op instructions with patient.
Skills:
*Computer skills including digital radiographs and practice management software.
*Excellent clinical skills
*Familiarity with all the instruments necessary for each procedure and how the surgeon likes to be supported
*Overall understanding of all aspects of the back office
*Disinfection and sterilization skills meeting or exceeding OSHA standards
*Motivated to stay up to date on medical, dental, and hygiene protocols
*Experience in IV sedation and emergency protocols
License/certifications:
-OMSA (required)
-X-ray certification (required)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
