Lower Manhattan Personal Injury practice seeking a skilled Legal Assistant to join our team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate who is conscientious with the ability to multi-task.

Candidate MUST have the following skills: -

· 2-3 years personal injury experience – DO NOT APPLY IF NO EXPERIENCE;

· must be bilingual in Spanish;

· must have knowledge of No-Fault, Summons & Complaints, Bill of Particulars and all aspects of discovery;

· ability to write clearly and concisely for legal documents;

· prepare materials for court filings, hearings and trials;

 proficient skills in Microsoft Office applications;

· correspond with Hospitals, Medical Offices, Insurance Companies & No-Fault Representatives;

· request and follow up on medical records;

· new client intake;

· receptionist skills;

· processing No-Fault Applications
