Join us as a Construction Project Manager at Larson Building, where you'll lead project teams, foster strong relationships with stakeholders, and oversee all project phases from planning to completion. Your expertise will be vital in achieving project goals on time and within budget, driving our mission forward.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead multiple construction projects from preliminary budgeting through final design, permitting, construction, and closeout.
- Develop detailed project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Review project proposal plans and specifications to determine time frames, funding limitations, and resource allocation.
- Manage client interfaces and stakeholder interactions, negotiating solutions to arising needs.
- Oversee the financial processes and outcomes of projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Execute change orders and manage project contracts.
- Serve as the main point of contact with the owner and on-site representatives, ensuring clear and effective communication.
- Mentor Superintendents, project team members, and interns, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards, promoting a safe work environment.
- Utilize construction management software to track project progress, manage documentation, and coordinate with team members.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field, or equivalent education and work experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience in commercial construction projects, with at least 2 years of management experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Word, and Excel; experience with construction management software (e.g., Procore, PlanGrid).
- Ability to read blueprints and communicate best practices in all phases of commercial construction.
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
- Proactive in anticipating customer needs and managing them with professionalism.
- Valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and access to a vehicle.

- Competitive salary at $100,000 - $130,000 per year, based on experience.
