The Compliance Associate - Insurance is responsible for:

• Review and analyze state insurance department bulletins and circulars, ISO circulars, PCI Bulletins, and related materials to determine their relevance and application.
• Monitor and interpret pending legislation that could impact Canal’s business activities, with guidance from attorneys.
• Conduct regulatory research encompassing state and federal laws, case law, and external sources, providing clear explanations of findings under the supervision of attorneys and Senior Compliance personnel.
• Coordinate tasks related to new and revised products, including researching, reviewing, and submitting new policy forms, rules, and rates.
• Ensure ongoing compliance of the policy portfolio with state and federal regulations; track and manage compliance status accordingly.

The Compliance Associate - Insurance should have the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
• At least three years of experience in regulatory compliance working in the insurance or transportation industry.
• Ability to interpret complex legal documents and regulatory guidelines.
