Job Overview:

The Fort Lauderdale branch of our client, a prominent legal firm is in search of a Litigation Associate with 1 to 5 years of experience handling defense-side litigation. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in guiding litigation cases from initiation to conclusion, including drafting and responding to pleadings, overseeing discovery processes, presenting and arguing motions, conducting and defending depositions, and participating in mediation sessions and trials. Expertise in wage-hour litigation, along with experience advising on wage-hour compliance and government DOL investigations, is viewed favorably.

While prior experience in employment law is preferred, the firm is equally interested in nurturing talented attorneys with a strong background in high-stakes defense-side litigation and a genuine interest in labor and employment law. The firm values individuals who demonstrate initiative, autonomy, and a drive for continuous personal and professional growth. Admission to the Florida Bar is a prerequisite.
