Responsibilities
- Handle traditional labor matters in various contexts
- Handle litigation, advice, and counseling for clients on traditional labor matters
- Handle employment-related counseling, transactional drafting, and litigation matters
- Handle issues including hiring and separation, wage and hour, EEO, non-compete and trade secrets, employment policies, agreements, and handbook reviews
- Handle due diligence for corporate transactions, employee accommodation and leave issues, investigations, and other labor and employment law matters
Qualifications
- 6 or more years of experience in employment law
- Must be admitted to the bar in Illinois or preparing for admission through reciprocity in 2024
- Excellent academic credentials required
- Significant experience in private-employer traditional labor law necessary
- Experience dealing with unions, collective bargaining, NLRB matters, labor arbitrations, etc., preferred
