A leading Global Financial Services Platform is seeking a Senior Vice President, Employment Counsel to join its Legal team in their Greenwich, CT or NYC office. This role will provide the opportunity to work on a variety of HR-related initiatives on a global level.

Key Responsibilities :

• Work closely with the General Counsel and Chief Human Resources Officer on various employee relation matters.
• Support Human Resources with various matters including internal policy compliance, disciplinary and performance initiatives, and hiring processes.
• Manage internal claims and negotiate a variety of HR-related agreements while supervising outside counsel.

Required Skills :

• J.D., Bar membership and 6-8 years of experience with benefits and compensation, HR-related functions, and employment litigation.
• Experience drafting and negotiating offer letters, separation agreements and other HR-related contracts.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with executive presence and work collaboratively in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment.
