A High Frequency Prop Trading Firm is looking to bring on a Trade Reconciliation Compliance Analyst to their team. You will play a crucial role in reviewing the firm's fee setups, calculations, and outputs, identifying discrepancies against third-party reports, and investigating any inconsistencies to reconcile them. This role sits in a flexible hybrid schedule in Chicago.

What You'll Do:

• Aid in the creation of standards, procedures, and internal controls for fee reconciliation activities.
• Conduct reconciliations and validations of the firm's global clearing, exchange, and regulatory fees and rebates, ensuring internal calculations align with monthly reports from third parties such as exchanges and brokers.
• Work with the fee analyst to investigate and resolve unreconciled items.
• Exhibit the capability to comprehend and assist with complex requests related to all aspects of fee setup and allocation processes.
• Actively monitor statements and invoices for calculation errors, data entry mistakes, and fee variances across periods.
• Document reconciliations to support modifications to fee schedules and accruals.
• Compile monthly reconciliation reports for all fees reconciled.
• Act as a key liaison between the Business Insights, Trade Accounting, Business Development, and Clearing teams.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned or required.

Skills You’ll Need:

• 3 years of work experience in Accounting, Finance, and Economics
• Bachelor's Degree Required
• Strong written, oral and visual presentation skills
• Excel, SQL, and python experience highly preferred
• Reliable and predictable availability
