The Vice President of Compliance will oversee all compliance activities within the bank, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry best practices. This position will report directly to the Chief Compliance Officer and collaborate closely with the Legal and Risk departments to implement effective compliance strategies and mitigate risks bank-wide. This role will sit hybrid in the DFW area.

Responsibilities:

• Stay updated on banking sector regulations.
• Develop, maintain, and update compliance policies aligned with regulations.
• Conduct compliance risk assessments and implement action plans.
• Develop and deliver compliance training programs.
• Establish and maintain a robust compliance monitoring program.
• Prepare and present compliance reports to management and regulators.
• Identify and assess compliance risks.
• Implement controls to mitigate risks effectively.
• Act as the primary liaison for regulatory inquiries.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with regulatory agencies and represent the bank in industry forums.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, or related field. Advanced degree (e.g., JD, MBA) preferred.
• Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) or other relevant certifications preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in compliance management within the banking or financial services industry.
• In-depth knowledge of banking regulations, including but not limited to, BSA/AML, KYC, Dodd-Frank Act, etc.
• Proven leadership experience, with the ability to lead and motivate a team of compliance professionals.
