Job Description
JOB SUMMARY:
Maintain a complete and accurate inventory at the Central Distribution Center working with management to achieve all goals associated with inventory control.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Perform, record, and report cycle count according to cycle count codes.
  • Inventory adjustments and tracing inventory discrepancies. Adjust inventory levels to matchDistribution Center inventory, per authorization and adjustment procedure.
  • Validate inventory receipts with production updates.
  • Maintain Inventory Locator system, fixed picking and warehouse discrete inventory location assignments.
  • Work with Quality regarding “On Hold” doors, inventory checking, re-labeling and general quality concerns.
  • Short Ship Report - Internal reporting on short ship activity to manager.
  • Past due order analysis and expediting those orders.
  • Responsible for receiving inbound product and correct receipt in system.
  • Internal disposition - put away.
  • Check all returned product in upon return to the CDC.
  • Match product with Return Tickets
  • Disposition return doors out of good inventory into 25800, 25700 or RTS
  • Manage material being returned for salvage and scrap to salvage operation.
  • Move damaged stock doors into 25800, 25700.
  • Order repair parts for damaged custom doors.
  • Track and keep organized items ran through system “work-flow” procedure for damaged custom product.
  • Research and process Min/Max change needs for CDC’s.
  • Research and process Inventory Policy and Fulfillment Type change needs for all locations.
  • Process Min/Max change needs for all locations.
  • Policy/Fulfillment Types for new and low volume product.
  • Plan outbound loads or partial loads in the absence of the Outbound Traffic Coordinator or his assistant.
  • Custom status, check for canceled or voided product.
  • Total weekly all product stats for key indicator reporting.
  • Clean out cancelled and duplicate items from your misc. parts storage area.
  • Responsible for organization of product for major resets or promos.
  • New product organization for CDC (pick locations).
  • Picking efficiency reporting.
  • Other special cost and inventory tracking as assigned.
