POSITION EXPECTATIONS
The Audio Visual (AV) Technician provides the set-up and operation of audio and video equipment including microphones, sound and mixing boards and speakers, video screens and monitors, projectors, recording equipment, and any related electronic equipment for meetings, conventions, and presentations. This position is responsible for maintaining, repairing, testing, and troubleshooting of the audio-visual equipment.

CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPECTATIONS
This position is expected to set up and operate AV equipment in a live production environment during conventions, shows and public meetings, for internal and external customers. This may include off-site and/or special events. Technicians are expected to work interactively with customers to establish concise needs and requirements. Verbal and written communication is critical to service the customer and pass information onto others, both within the LVCVA and working alongside the LVCVA.

In addition, all ambassadors are responsible for eliminating and reporting hazards and incidents. While performing the duties of this job, the ambassador is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Frequently required to talk and hear. The ambassador must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds and frequently up to 25 pounds. Ability to utilize close vision, distance vision, color vision, and depth perception.
