Assist with day-to-day functions of the Production Support Group (PSG)

Duties (depending on skill level):

• Perform general industrial building maintenance.
• Strong electrical background including 3-phase experience required.
• Plumbing and refrigeration skills a plus.
• Assist with or conduct repairs on industrial machines (electrical, hydraulic & mechanical).
• Previous experience with injection molding machines a plus.
• Light to moderate fabrication/fixturing.
• Basic knowledge of welding and machining techniques a plus.
• Able to read and follow blueprints and schematics a plus.
• Perform preventative maintenance on injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment using outlined procedures in PM checks.
• Able to follow step by step instructions using basic hand tools to perform PM.
• Record and report findings to supervisor.
• Complete special tasks/projects assigned by management.

Job Requirements:

· Driving forklift

· Occasional to frequent lifting/carrying (generally 10 lbs. to 40 lbs.) from floor to above shoulder height

· Occasional bending, pushing or pulling of auxiliary equipment or product

· Rare to occasional climbing of ladder

· Constant standing/occasional walking throughout the shift

· Helps maintain plant cleanliness and safety (6S)

· Good written and oral communication skills

· Good work and attendance record – work overtime as required

LaSalle Bristol Manufacturing in Plymouth, Indiana is seeking a Toolmaker who has completed either an apprenticeship program or is a journeyman.

Job Duties:

• Work individually or as a team with other personnel to build and repair injection molds and equipment. Repair damaged tooling with or without prints.
• Assist with injection mold functions in the molding department (should have basic knowledge of resins & processing & hydraulics/basic mechanical ability).
• Complete and assist in other tasks/projects as assigned by Tool Room/General Manager.
• Basic computer skills and design software experience a plus. Tig welding experience, although not required is a plus.

Job Requirements:

• Driving forklift (move molds to and from the tool room and mold storage areas).
• Occasional to frequent lifting/carrying (generally 10 lbs. to 40 lbs.), bending, pushing or pulling of injection molds/equipment.
• Involves mostly standing while working on repair of molds or mold making - some walking throughout the day.
• Helps maintain plant cleanliness and safety (6S)
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Good work and attendance record – work overtime as required

Rate of pay is dependent on skill level and experience.
