Latitude Legal is Hiring a Regulatory Licensing and Compliance Manager - Money Transmitter Licenses Near Atlanta, GA

Latitude is seeking a Regulatory Licensing Manager for our fintech client to manage their Money Transmitter License compliance activities. Based on the candidate's preference, this role may be part- or full-time with our client and is fully remote - or may work out of offices in New York or Atlanta, if desired. The role requires at least 3 years of previous experience with money transmitter filings and compliance. If you have the requisite experience, are detailed-oriented and a self-starter and come with great references, this could be the role for you.
Basic Job Duties for the Regulatory Licensing Manager:
  • Generally, manage and maintain US Money Transmission Licenses (MTL), Louisiana VCBA and NYDFS BitLicense.
  • Coordinate and submit reporting, including renewal applications, quarterly, semi-annual, annual reports, and quarterly/annual financial statements.
  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal money transmission requirements, including permissible investments, surety bonds, and customer disclosures.
  • Keep all company, bank, and registered agent information and documentation on NMLS up to date. Keep all license information and disclosures on company website up to date.
  • Communicate advanced notices with licensors regarding material changes to the company including address, name and organizational structural changes.
  • Respond to all license items or license-related inquiries from State agencies.
  • Project manage and coordinate State and Federal (IRS) regulatory examinations.
  • Help coordinate response and remediation efforts for examination findings.
  • Assist with applications for new US licenses and International licensing.
Basic Requirements for the Regulatory Licensing Manager:
  • 3 years of experience working in financial regulatory compliance roles that include money transmitter laws and licensing
  • Experience with Nationwide Multistate Licensing System & Registry (NMLS)
  • Experience making filings and maintaining records.
  • Experience interacting with regulators and supporting regulatory examinations.
  • Detail-oriented with ability to communicate clearly and to work independently.
  • Fintech experience preferred.
  • Outstanding professional references
Position Details of the Regulatory Licensing Manager:
  • Type of role: Permanent, Compliance
  • Schedule: Part-Time or Full-Time (candidate preference)
  • Location: Remote (or hybrid in Atlanta or New York, if desired)
Compensation: Pay: The pay range for this role is $40 to $55 per hour. Pay is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, and location.
Benefits: In addition to pay, a competitive benefits package is also provided.
