Logistics Of The Role
- Full Time - Direct Hire
- On Site
- Uses computer-assisted design/drafting (SolidWorks) equipment and software to develop designs for new and existing products.
- To complete drawings, utilize knowledge of various machines, engineering practices, mathematics, building materials, and other physical sciences.
- Create models and details from design engineer conceptual ideas
- Provide design layouts and solid models and develop manufacturing machining, fabrication, forging and casting design drawings
- Update and maintain design documents
- Familiarity with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing is preferred
- Must have a strong understanding of drafting techniques and familiarity with engineering terminology.
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering (preferred Mechanical or Industrial Engineering)
- Have a strong SolidWorks and AutoCAD understanding
- Must be able to read schematics and Blueprints.
