Overview : We are seeking a detail-oriented Technical Assistant with expertise in creating and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
The ideal candidate will support technical teams by documenting processes, assisting in the development of operational guidelines, and ensuring that all technical documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible.
This role requires strong technical writing skills, an understanding of industry best practices, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various departments.
Responsibilities :
SOP Development : Collaborate with technical teams to develop clear, concise, and accurate Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for various operational processes.
Ensure that all SOPs align with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Documentation Management : Maintain and organize the SOP repository, ensuring that all documents are properly versioned, accessible, and compliant with company policies.
Process Improvement : Work with teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and update SOPs accordingly. Ensure that all changes are well-documented and communicated to relevant stakeholders.
Technical Writing : Assist in the creation and maintenance of other technical documentation, including user manuals, training materials, and technical reports.
Ensure consistency in terminology and format across all documents.
Training Support : Assist in the development and delivery of training programs based on SOPs. Provide support to teams in understanding and implementing documented procedures.
Quality Assurance : Review and edit SOPs and other technical documents to ensure accuracy, clarity, and completeness. Conduct regular audits to ensure documentation is current and relevant.
Collaboration : Work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs), engineers, quality assurance, and operations teams to gather information and ensure that all documentation reflects current practices and procedures.
Compliance : Ensure that all SOPs and technical documents comply with industry regulations, company policies, and quality management systems.
Participate in audits and inspections as needed.
Continuous Improvement : Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes. Recommend and implement improvements to the documentation process.
Administrative Support : Provide general administrative support to the technical team, including scheduling meetings, managing files, and coordinating communication between departments.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.
2 years of experience in technical writing, documentation, or a related field, with a focus on SOP development.
Strong technical writing and editing skills, with attention to detail and clarity.
Familiarity with industry regulations and standards relevant to the organization (e.g., ISO, FDA, GMP).
Excellent organizational and project management skills.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to understand complex technical processes.
Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus.
