LaTour Hotels and Resorts, Inc., is now hiring for a Director of Revenue Management to join our dynamic team at our Corporate Office in Asheville, NC! SummaryResponsible for management of revenues within our VacationCondos.com operations. Identifies and implements revenue maximization strategies. Assumes accountability for compliance as related to revenue activities. Serves as a trusted consultant for leadership. This is a bonus-eligible position.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Create and analyze reports as needed including but not limited to occupancy, ADR and annual revenue numbers. Review to identify key opportunities and objectives to increase rental revenue.
  • Approve and coordinate all tasks assigned to Partner Relations Manager and Revenue Manager.
  • Ensure compliance with governing documents of HOAs, Clubs and outside partners. Ensure that telemarketing compliance is followed with all external marketing campaigns.
  • Coordinate the preparation of monthly revenue distributions to all inventory owner entities. Oversee all employees assisting in the preparation and approve final numbers for accounting to distribute.
  • Develop and implement SOPs for corporate/resort employees to follow regarding all rental bookings and inventory management.
  • Interact with leadership in order to maintain reporting accuracy and strategic value. Ensure the reporting is aligned with the overall business goals.
  • Develop and direct the Partner Relations Manager and Revenue Manager to ensure productivity and knowledge growth. Ensure they are managing their direct reports in a responsible way. Train, supervise and evaluate department staff.
  • Oversee the management of all rental operations at affiliated resorts, including ensuring rental inventory is maximized for each entity. Ensure that all in-house and resort employees have a working knowledge of rental software and understand the end goal of inventory management.
  • Troubleshoot and remedy any rental software malfunction. Ensure rental software is integrating correctly with related websites and OTA rental pathways. Build new contracts with OTAs as properties or inventory is added to the management portfolio.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge And Skill Requirements
  • A four-year degree in Business, Hospitality/Tourism, Management, Marketing or a related field and five years of experience in hospitality or a related industry, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a supervisory role.
  • Demonstrated understanding of profit maximization techniques.
  • Excellent organizational abilities.
  • Exposure to and an understanding of a variety of hospitality industry/hotel and resort software programs
  • Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to deliver all types of information to diverse parties in an appropriate manner.
Preference will be given to candidates who have completed a Masters level degree in a related field.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Work may require occasional weekend and/or evening work. Travel up to 25%.
