As the Vice President of Data & AI at Launch Consulting, you will be instrumental in leading our AI-first strategy, overseeing the Data & AI studio, and driving innovation across our business. This role demands a visionary leader who can scale our AI capabilities, deliver impactful solutions, and foster strong client relationships.

Location: Bellevue, WA or Chicago, IL

Key Responsibilities:

Studio Leadership

  • Strategic Vision & Execution: Develop and lead the strategic direction of the Data & AI studio, aligning it with the company's goals and the evolving AI landscape.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure the AI studio operates as a high-performing unit, consistently driving innovation and delivering top-tier AI solutions.
  • Resource Management: Oversee resource allocation, ensuring optimal talent deployment on projects that align with the firm's strategic priorities.
  • Innovation Hub: Position the Data & AI studio as the centerpiece of innovation within the organization, piloting and scaling new AI methodologies, tools, and technologies.
  • Quality & Performance: Maintain the highest standards of quality in all AI solutions, ensuring they meet client expectations and business outcomes.

Client Engagement & Business Development

  • Client Solutions: Collaborate with Business Units and Sales teams to deliver client-specific AI solutions that address critical needs and drive measurable benefits.
  • Pre-Sales Leadership: Lead pre-sales efforts, including solutioning, client presentations, proposal development, and RFP responses.
  • Market Expansion: Identify and pursue opportunities to expand AI services and offerings with new and existing clients.

Solution Ownership

  • End-to-End Accountability: Own the direction and outcomes of AI solutions, providing expert technical guidance and ensuring successful delivery.
  • Capability Development: Support the growth and development of the Data & AI studio, experimenting with and scaling new offerings.
  • Thought Leadership: Drive brand development through thought leadership, including publishing, public speaking, and client engagements.

Team Development & Leadership

  • Mentorship & Growth: Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the Data & AI team.
  • Industry Trends: Stay ahead of industry trends, integrating emerging technologies and best practices into the studio’s offerings.

Qualifications and Skills:

Educational Background

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree: In Business, Information Technology, or a related field.

Professional Experience

  • Proven expertise: Minimum of 10 years of experience in AI and Data leadership within a consulting environment.
  • AI Ecosystem Mastery: Deep understanding of the AI ecosystem, including tools, technologies, and market trends.
  • Strategic Leadership: Extensive experience leading and delivering complex AI programs with a focus on tangible outcomes.
  • Commercial Acumen: Strong ability to manage project budgets, financial performance, and business growth. Executive Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
