Laurel Employment Law is Hiring an Associate Attorney - Employment Law Near San Diego, CA

We are looking for winners. Our team is looking to hire an attorney with employment law litigation experience to fight and win for our clients. You will do this by getting our clients great settlements and verdicts while providing a uniquely exceptional client experience. You will be given plenty of opportunity, a pathway for growth, and the ability to maximize your earning potential with financial incentives to perform your very best.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Manage your cases from start to finish.

  • Draft pleadings, discovery, meet and confer, motion practice and more.

  • Argue motions and oppositions.

  • Take and defend depositions.

  • Prepare for and take a leading role in the trial.

  • Develop key case strategy and make critical case management decisions.

  • Draft mediation briefs, attend mediation, and do an exceptional job negotiating settlements.

  • Litigate strategically to maximize leverage and obtain key evidence for the case file.

  • Communicate proactively with clients, setting clear expectations and leaving them knowing that their case is in good hands.

Your Skills:

  • Actively licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar.

  • At least five years of experience specializing in employment litigation.

  • Superb legal research, writing, and analytical ability.

  • Ability to think creatively and strategically.

  • Ability to manage your time effectively and manage a large caseload.

  • A desire to litigate aggressively and with an extreme sense of urgency.

  • Highly motivated, ambitious, with a desire for growth and responsibility.
