Lauren Jillian Executive Search is Hiring a Commerical Real Estate Paralegal Near Boston, MA

Company Overview: Lauren Jillian Executive Search is partnered with an active Boston-based commercial real estate development company with multi-million dollars of Assets Under Management and Development across the City of Boston.

Positon Requirements:

• Educatonal Background: Bachelor’s degree. Paralegal certification strongly preferred.

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of paralegal experience in commercial real estate.

• Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in legal software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong skills in

legal research plaƞorms.

• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Organizational Skills: Highly organized with an ability to prioritize and manage mulƟple

projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and

organizational skills.

• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical ability and research skills.

• Personal Characteristics: Ability to be proactive, a team player, and to work effectively under

minimal supervision. Willingness to join a small Team of “do what it takes” professionals and

make a meaningful contribution.

Specific Job Functions:

• Transaction Support: Assist attorneys with commercial real estate transactions, including

acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, developments and financings. Coordinate closings.

• Due Diligence: Conduct thorough due diligence for real estate transactions, including title,

survey, zoning, and environmental risk assessments.

• Documentation: Draft and revise contracts. Review, analyze and abstract agreements,

ensuring accurate representation of key terms. Prepare executive summaries of

documentation, due diligence, or transaction status.

• Document Management: Maintain an organized system for tracking and storing company

contracts and documents.

• Research, Compliance and Risk Management: Conduct research on federal, state, and local

laws and regulations. Analyzing and summarizing zoning ordinances and statutes for review

by attorneys. Coordination of entity filings with the Secretary of State.

• Internal Collaboration: Member of the Head of People Operation’s administrative team

working on office and people management initiatives. Facilitate the meeting of deadlines by

keeping muliple agendas/tracking lists and providing timely reminders. Work closely with

other departments such as Development and Asset Services, to ensure that all aspects of real

estate transactions are aligned with corporate strategies.

• External Communications: Serve as a liaison between the company and outside counsel, title

insurance companies, investors, and mortgage lenders, ensuring clear communication and

efficient transaction progress.

Ideal start date will be August 1, 2024.
