LaVante' N Dorsey & Associates, LLC is Hiring a Mental Health Clinical Supervisor Near Newark, DE

Position Summary:

The Mental Health Therapy Clinical Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and guiding the clinical work of therapists and mental health professionals. This role involves providing clinical supervision, ensuring adherence to best practices and ethical standards, and fostering professional development within the team. The Clinical Supervisor will also contribute to the development and implementation of clinical programs and policies.

Key Responsibilities: 1 Group Supervision Bi-Weekly, 1 individual supervision per month. (8 hours currently)

1. Clinical Supervision:

- Provide individual and group supervision to therapists, interns, and other mental health professionals.

- Review and provide feedback on case notes, treatment plans, and clinical documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with organizational standards.

- Assist therapists in developing effective treatment strategies and interventions for clients.

2. Staff Development:

- Identify training needs and facilitate professional development opportunities for clinical staff.

- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to support staff growth.

- Mentor and support new therapists in their professional development and integration into the team.

3. Quality Assurance:

- Ensure that clinical services are delivered in accordance with best practices, ethical guidelines, and regulatory requirements.

- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of clinical interventions and programs.

- Participate in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives.

4. Program Development:

- Collaborate with the Clinical Director and other team members to develop and enhance clinical programs and services.

- Stay informed about current trends and advancements in mental health care and incorporate new knowledge into clinical practice.

- Assist in the creation and revision of clinical policies and procedures.

5. Administrative Duties:

- Maintain accurate records of supervision sessions and ensure compliance with licensing and accreditation requirements.

- Participate in staff meetings, case conferences, and other organizational meetings.

- Assist in the recruitment and selection of clinical staff and interns.

6. Client Care:

- Provide direct clinical services to a small caseload of clients as needed.

- Serve as a resource for crisis intervention and complex case consultations.

- Ensure that client care is person-centered, trauma-informed, and culturally competent.

Qualifications:

- Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.

- Licensed in Delaware

- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in mental health services.

- Previous supervisory experience preferred.

- Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices and therapeutic interventions.

- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

- Commitment to ethical practice and ongoing professional development.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $48.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3 per week

Schedule:

  • 4 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Shift availability:

  • Day Shift (Preferred)
  • Night Shift (Preferred)
