We are looking for a paralegal with high legal service and professional standards to be a part of our practice. Our firm is in the heart of Denton, Texas, specializing in complex family law, probate, and guardianship cases.

STRONG APPLICANTS:

• Have three or more years of experience in Texas family law matters.
• Are self-starters, able to work independently, organized, and able to multitask.
• Possess high-level verbal and written skills to communicate with clients, attorneys, and court personnel effectively.
• Provide a high standard of legal service and professionalism to clients.
• Enjoy large and complex cases.

JOB DUTIES INCLUDE:

• Working directly with attorneys and clients on time-sensitive matters.
• Preparation for hearings, mediations and/or trials. Paralegals work their assigned cases from start to finish.
• Assisting attorneys in court.
• Draft pleadings, discovery requests and responses, inventories, and pre-trial documents.
• General case maintenance.
• Schedule mediations, hearings, appointments, and litigation deadlines.
