Job Title: Legal Assistant

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Legal Assistant to join our team. This position will provide crucial administrative support to our legal team and ensure smooth day-to-day operations within our office. As a Legal Assistant, you will handle a variety of tasks including processing new client paperwork, setting up insurance claims, coordinating client appointments with doctors, and maintaining communication with clients throughout their case.

Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to our legal team.

- Process new client intake paperwork and set up claims with insurance companies.

- Coordinate client appointments with medical providers.

- File management and setup in our case management software.

- Answer and manage a multi-line phone system, directing calls as necessary.

- Draft correspondence as required.

- Assist with general office tasks and projects as needed.

Requirements:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and general technological aptitude.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

- Previous experience in a legal setting or similar administrative role preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour

• Monday to Friday
