Role Description

This is a full-time legal receptionist role with the Law Offices of Dennis Smith, PC. We are looking for someone with good energy and a positive outlook to join a growing firm.

The legal receptionist will be responsible for various day-to-day tasks including client communication, calendar management, scheduling and confirming appointments, medical record requests, translating, data entry, assisting with copying, faxing and scanning, and answering, screening, and forwarding phone calls in a professional manner. This role is a hybrid position, with the primary work location being Melville, NY, but there is flexibility for some remote work.

Happy to train the right candidate.

Qualifications

Pleasant, patient, and empathetic

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Experience in legal document preparation
  • Proficient phone etiquette
  • Familiarity with Cloudlex is a plus
  • Spanish speaking
