Bronx law firm is seeking a highly motivated, professional, and reliable Paralegal. Prior experience as a Workers’ Compensation case manager is preferred. Spanish speaking is preferred. This is an in-person position .
Job Description : Heavy volume client communication; filing standard forms, i.e., C-3, RFA-1, OC-400.1, etc.; periodic file reviews; hearing preparation; evaluation of case status; follow-up on medical records requests; coordinating medical care; contact with claim’s adjusters; drafting of correspondence. The ability to handle heavy call volume with outstanding customer service skills is imperative in maintaining this position. The ability to set priorities is required. Candidates with prior experience in scheduling depositions and hearings will be specially considered.
The ideal candidate must possess the following:
