Responsibilities
•Perform research, draft briefs, pleadings, and motions
•Provide guidance and advice to associate attorneys and paralegals to resolve or prevent conflicts
•Strategize, prepare for, and attend trial proceedings, mediation, and arbitration
•Argue motions in court on behalf of clients during legal proceedings
•Get appropriate documents prepared, such as motions, pleadings, notices, and discovery requests and responses
Qualifications
•Exceptional time management and interpersonal skills are desired, as are exceptional writing and verbal communication skills
•Member of state and local bar associations in good standing
•Applicants must have trial, mediation, and arbitration representation experience
•Five years of experience as a senior associate in the legal industry
•Bachelor's degree with a law degree from an accredited law school (such as an LLM, JSD, or J.D. degree)
