Role Overview:

Reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer, you will work closely with the firm’s Practice Group Leaders, Managers, and their teams to enhance individual and firm performance. You will be a key member of the Employee Experience team, responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating engaging and effective learning content across the entire firm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop programs, competency frameworks, and learning pathways that meet the firm's development needs.
  • Design and develop high-quality L&D content in consultation with Practice Group Leaders and Managers.
  • Conduct training needs analysis to identify capability gaps and determine necessary L&D interventions.
  • Partner with external training providers and internal SMEs to create learning and development programs that address business training needs.
  • Provide best practice L&D advice and guidance across the firm, working with various teams to design key learning interventions.
  • Deliver program content and sessions as needed.
  • Utilize the firm’s Learning Management System to create effective content compatible with various systems and technologies.
  • Project manage the development of individual eLearning and blended learning solutions, collaborating with internal SMEs and external L&D developers.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Learning & Development Specialist, with some experience of working in a law firm.
  • Strong understanding of L&D best practices and trends.
  • Experience in designing, developing, and delivering engaging and effective learning content.
  • Ability to conduct training needs analysis and identify appropriate L&D interventions.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Proficient in using Learning Management Systems and other related technologies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
  • Relevant certifications or qualifications in Learning & Development are desirable.
