Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Closing / Title Attorney to advise clients in real estate transactions involving the purchase, sale, refinance, and HELOC of residential and/or commercial property. Attorney will also have title responsibilities involving the review, analysis, and preparation of a myriad of documents and instruments associated with various real estate transactions. Candidates should be highly motivated, hard-working, and able to work under tight deadlines while possessing a keen attention to detail.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Review title searches
- Prepare title certifications and title opinions, and Deeds
- Prepare Trust instruments, corporate resolutions, Promissory Notes, Mortgages, Easements
- Review real estate contracts
- Review and draft easements
- Conduct closings for all transactions types
- Review the disbursement and recording post-closing
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Juris Doctorate from an accredited Law School
- North Carolina Bar License in Good Standing
- Notary Public
- Preferred experience in reviewing title, drafting real estate documents, and experience conducting closings
- Company Cell Phone
