Position Summary:

Responsible for a variety of the daily administrative and clinical tasks essential to recovery care services for patients with substance use disorders (SUD), with a clinical emphasis on assertive outreach in the field/street to engage and retain new patients in medication-assisted recovery (MAR) treatment at LCHC.

Qualifications

• Requires knowledge of MAR/SUD treatment services, including Motivational Interviewing and Harm Reduction principles.
• Computer literacy and experience is required.
• Good organizational, analytical, communication and time management skills.
• Ability to work as a team member.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while responding to multiple demands in a multi-disciplinary team setting.
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate leadership skills.
• Ability to work with a culturally diverse group of people.

Required Knowledge, Experience, or Licensure/Registration10. Responds to on-site crisis intervention according to policy. 11. Attends monthly agency staff and weekly department meetings. 12. Utilizes electronic medical records to document the clinical behavioral health aspect of patient assessment/interventions and tracks the patient referrals to specialty behavioral health care. 13. Maintains professional competence by pursuing opportunities for continuous learning, attending continuing education offerings, reading professional literature, and engaging in other activities, which develop new knowledge and skills.Required Skills or Abilities*1. Computer literacy and experience is required. 2. Ability to work as a team member.3. ·Bachelor of Science or Arts in social work/health science

·Two years of experience with substance use programming preferred.

·CADC licensure is a plus

·Fluency of Spanish language is a plus.

·Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle
