Position Summary
The Referral Coordinators are core members of Lawndale Christian Health Center’s care teams, defined as a small group of clinical and non-clinical professionals working together to manage the health of a defined population of patients. Referral Coordinators are responsible for referral coordination, insurance verification and authorization, and patient communication about specialty appointments. Referral Coordinators will work alongside site managers and other members of the care team, delegating tasks and managing daily workflow. Referral Coordinators must be proactive, well-organized, and function well in a fast-paced clinic environment.
