Lawrence County Health Department is Hiring a Marketing Manager Near Lawrenceville, IL

Position Description: The Marketing Manager works closely with Administration and Department Directors and is responsible for planning and implementing sales, marketing and product development programs, both short and long range, targeted toward existing and new markets by performing the following duties.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Essential functions of this position are as follows:

  • Develops and implements strategic marketing plans and forecasts to achieve corporate objectives for products and services.
  • Plans and oversees advertising and promotion activities including print, online, electronic media, and direct mail.
  • Manages all LCHD Social Media;
  • Ensures social media strategies align with Lawrence County Health Department’s goals;
  • Marketing the Lawrence County Health Department;
  • Negotiates contracts for services needed to execute a marketing strategy;
  • Ensure social media strategies align with the Lawrence County Health Department’s goals;
  • Develop digital content for all social media platforms including Help in outbound and inbound marketing activities by displaying expertise in certain areas such as events, planning, advertising, optimization, and content development;
  • Attend any trainings, seminars, or conferences deemed necessary to improve job performance with Administrators approval;
  • Ability to travel within the State of Illinois;
  • Performs other duties as required or requested.

Qualifications:

  • Requires a Bachelor Degree in Marketing or Master’s degree in a relevant field;
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in marketing, preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
