Lawrence General Outpatient Rehabilitation is Hiring a Medical Front Desk Receptionist Near Andover, MA

Front Desk Medical Receptionist. Full-time and per diem opportunities available.

The client service representative is the first point of contact for the Outpatient Rehabilitation Department and is responsible for setting a professional, courteous, and compassionate tone to ensure a positive customer experience.

Responsibilities include:

  • Greeting/welcoming and checking in patients by face to face encounters and through answering phones
  • Patient pre-registration and registration through hospital and department EMR
  • Obtaining and accurately entering all personal, financial, and insurance data
  • Booking/scheduling new evaluations and reoccurring/follow up visits for physical, occupational therapy
  • Verifying patient insurance and co-payments; copay collection
  • Will also be able to answer questions regarding therapy services available and routes calls to the appropriate staff member as needed

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, computer knowledge
  • 5 years or more at a medical front desk position
  • Entry level without medical experience considered at a starting rate of $16/hour.

Preferred:

  • Bilingual English/Spanish
  • Outpatient Rehab Front Desk Experience

Full-time Schedule:

Mondays & Wednesdays 8:30am-6:30pm, Tuesdays & Thursdays 8:30am-4:30pm, Fridays 8am-1pm.

Job Types: Full-time, Per diem

Pay: From $17.76 per hour
