We are working with one of the nation's largest accounting, consulting, and professional services firms that is looking to expand its privacy function. This is the opportunity to be part of a Privacy practice that is growing exponentially.

As the privacy manager, you will lead internal privacy initiatives collaborating cross-functionally to develop, implement, and manage data privacy policies, procedures, and practices.

• Developing, implementing, maintaining, and communicating privacy policies, processes, and procedures that align with global regulations and industry best practices.
• Participate in internal design discussions to ensure data protection requirements are clearly defined early and throughout the development lifecycle for new projects.
• Review data protection and privacy agreements and terms and manage and respond to Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs) ensuring compliance with data privacy laws, regulations, and guidance.
• Supporting incident response efforts in case of privacy breaches and working to minimize their impact.
• Collaborating with third-party vendors and partners
• Work cross-functionally with employees at all levels across the company to ensure efficient integration of the Privacy Program into business processes.
• Manage adoption of policies, guidelines, manuals, and procedures for the Global Data Privacy Program

*MUST HAVE PREVIOUS CONSULTING EXPERIENCE*

Qualifications:

• 6 years of experience in data privacy/standing up a privacy program
• Proficiency in understanding and grasping the broader strategic objectives and how individual tasks contribute to achieving those goals.
• Ability to handle multiple, competing tasks and deadlines
• Entrepreneurial mindset and a willingness to innovate
• Knowledge in CCPA/CPRA, VCDPA, CPA, CTDPA
• Privacy certifications in at least one of the following: CIPM, CIPP, CISSP, CIPT
