Position Overview

We are looking for a Director of Data Governance to join our Data Excellence team. This role involves leading our enterprise stewardship community in adopting best practices for data governance and management. The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset and proven experience in large-scale data transformations focusing on governance and privacy.

Key Responsibilities and Info

• Lead a team dedicated to promoting data governance adoption
• This is a 4 person team
• This is a new team
• You will have to work onsite Tuesday and Wednesdays
• Act as a subject matter expert in data management, consulting with stakeholders to improve data governance literacy, advance data maturity, and develop strategic data initiatives.
• Collaborate with data leaders to address data issues and leverage opportunities, ensuring alignment with enterprise goals and regulatory standards.
• Evaluate and refine team and program performance.
• Provide strategic leadership to cross-functional teams.

Required Qualifications

• 12 years of experience in large-scale data transformations with a focus on data governance
• Extensive CPG Data Governance experience is a must
• Extensive knowledge of data management and governance principles, implementations, and industry trends.
• Proven track record of managing multiple business stakeholders and aligning with senior leadership to drive data governance initiatives.
