Description

Established local company specializing in property development, asset management, property management and residential construction is seeking an experienced accounting professional. The ideal candidate would have strong organizational and analytical skills, a dedicated work ethic and must work well in a fast-paced environment and still be able to meet essential deadlines. Responsibilities include managing cash flow, reconciling bank statements, processing a large volume of bank transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with projects as needed. This role has a significant impact on the financial health and success of the organization and is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness and timeliness of the company’s financial transactions while maintaining a strong internal control environment. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include:

• Monitor and record daily bank transactions
• Prepare and process deposits, transfers, and wires
• Process Vendor AP checks and ACH/EFT Payments
• Produce daily and weekly cash reports
• Reconcile accounts receivable
• Complete bank reconciliations

Requirements

Qualifications

• Associate degree in accounting or equivalent experience required
• 1 to 2 years of previous banking or treasury experience
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy with high volume data entry
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
• Knowledge of Sage or other accounting software
• Ability to effectively communicate with staff and management
