LB&B Associates Inc. is accepting applications for Assistant Program Manager to assist with program management of simulator maintenance and training contracts. Travel to sites is required.
Minimum experience shall be exclusive of and shall demonstrate five (5) out of the last seven (7) years of management experience managing contracts of similar size and characteristics. An Assistant Program Manager must possess formalized training and include ten (10) years simulator maintenance skills to include the ability to study and translate schematic drawings, troubleshooting complex circuits, component level repair, complex visual systems, and computer and network management or equivalent. The candidate shall be a graduate from a two-year resident Electronics Technician course at an accredited technical institute or equivalent or completed factory/formal training. Experience or education may be substituted, providing it is similar in nature. An Assistant Program Manager must also possess working knowledge of hydraulic system, pumps and actuators as well as working knowledge administering and managing computer operating systems, including installation of operating systems, software patches including implementation of software backups, software security maintenance and antivirus IA requirements, and software upgrades as required. Assistant Program Manager must have demonstrated knowledge and experience using and installing networking equipment such as switches and routers and must have a working knowledge and familiarity with applicable IA instructions and practices. Must be customer-focused and dedicated to meeting customer expectations and requirements. Must be adept at planning, negotiating, developing schedules, managing others, as well as, anticipating and adjusting to issues and/or roadblocks. Must be results driven, bottom line oriented and constantly seeking efficiency/productivity improvement. Must be able to maximize productivity.
Assistant Program Manager must be able to obtain a SECRET clearance.
