LBMC Staffing Solutions is Hiring a Bookkeeper/Billing Specialist Near Franklin, TN

Job Summary

Our Client is seeking to hire a Bookkeeper/Billing Specialist who will be responsible for company and project accounting, budget organization, and project set-up within our Deltek-Ajera system. The ideal candidate will be able to manage multiple priorities while providing exemplary internal and external customer service.

Overview of Key Duties and Responsibilities

· Prepares regularly scheduled client invoices under the direction of Project Managers and Accounting Supervision

· Tracks and reports project budget versus actuals performance

· Understands general knowledge of project cost accounting and Work-in-Process

· Addresses project specific client and internal billing matters

· Receipt and entry of project specific and other-direct cost invoices

· Ensure client approval of invoices and timely payment

· Compiles, stores and retrieves data

· Collaborates with Project Managers to ensure billing accuracy

· Performs various other accounting and administrative duties as required

Qualifications

· Associate degree or higher preferred

· Experience specifically in Deltek Ajera project management/accounting system is a plus.

· Excellent communication, writing and organizational skills.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, etc.)

· Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple assignments concurrently

· Ability to work effectively within a group, as well as independently

· Works well under pressure, maintain a high degree of professionalism and positivity

· High attention to detail and accuracy

· Experience in the Architecture/Engineering/Construction (AEC) industry would also be a plus.
