LBYD Engineers is Hiring an Administrative Assistant Near Kansas, MO
DescriptionPosition Title: Administrative Assistant Reports to: Operations Manager Location: Kansas City, MO Employment Status: Full-Time FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Position Summary: Aldevra is currently seeking a qualified Administrative Assistant to support the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Kansas City, MO. This position is contingent upon contract award.Duties And ResponsibilitiesThe essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Performs receptionist functions such as, receiving and screen visitors and phone calls.
Issue visitor badges, maintain sign-in logs, and ensure compliance with security provisions are followed.
Perform routine document center support functions, such as, photocopying, delivering items, assembling notebooks, including pulling file copies of documents, tabbing binders, numbering, binding, labeling, re-filing documents and shelving case files, packing boxes and preparing them for shipment, retrieving case file materials, completing log sheets, answer phones, logging messages, and faxing information.
Receive, date stamps, review, and route documents via multiple fiscal electronic mailboxes (e.g., Travel request, invoices, transcripts).
Assist with closed file room responsibilities, including closed file records requests and shipments.
Update closed file logs.
Perform data entry into various USAO databases.
Prepare documents for imaging and scanning.
Assemble/disassemble documents as required, taking care to ensure that original documents are reassembled exactly to their original state.
Maintain inventory/control records and ordering supplies.
Complete all aspects of travel in accordance with Federal Travel Regulations (FTR) and Department of Justice (DOJ) policies, including travel arrangements; preparing cost comparisons, submitting authorizations; completing vouchers; and submitting local mileage claims.
Sort and date stamps incoming mail and prepares outgoing mail including packaging boxes for shipments.
All other duties as assigned.

Skill in operating personal computers, telephones, scanners, and printers.
Valid driver's license

Experience with Microsoft Office programs such as Word and Excel are required.
Excellent attention to detail; accurate data entry
